Birch trees emerging from formless splashes of autumn color; ethereal and elusive. This technique is based on splashing paint from a brush and sprayed-on water droplets. Let the paint and water merge and creep, then create a painting from the fascinating patterns. A hint of shadow on the trunks, and the cylindrical forms are revealed.

Original watercolor is 14x11, mounted on Claybord with a ¾” natural wood cradle, sealed with acrylic gel medium, no frame or glass necessary.

Print: 10x8 on textured paper, matted to 14x11. Options: black or dark green single mat
