As an artist, I am equally interested in portraying the medium that I use as much as the subject matter that I paint. I use a heavy-handed application of oil paints via brushstrokes, pallet knives, and oftentimes my fingertips. I strive to impart a sense of gesture, depth, and feeling through modern impressionism. 40" x 48" x 2" (3 panel peice 16" x 40" each)
