Titled after the book “Anthem” by Ayn Rand. This sculpture is a visual anthem of a man pushing against and breaking out of constraints. Although this is a newer piece of mine, it is the one that connected many of my other works such as “Shelter”, “Lotus”, “Momentum”, and “One” together into a series. I call it my "Anthem" series because these sculptures have a dynamic strength to them similar to what you would hear in the many musical anthems of the world. An anthem is a song that people can connect to and rally behind. I think of these sculptures as Visual Anthems.
