Large Ceramic Sculpture derived from wheel throwing techniques and hand building techniques. This piece can be used indoors or outdoors. The sculpture is about 31” tall x 15” wide by 11” deep. This piece is unique and one of a kind. It is fired to cone five with glazes and underglazes. I started to make fire hydrants for two reasons, one I love that it is fired in a kiln with fire, and two, I do sidewalk art festivals and I like the element of surprise this piece creates.
