The Echinacea Baskets are 15”/5”/3, the Maple Leaf Basket is 10”/7”/3”, Fern Basket is 7.5”/11”/6”, Flight of Birds Basket is 8”/6”/3” (this does not include the cane handles). The Echinacea Baskets are covered with a crackle glaze which is a signature feature of Raku ware. The other baskets feature the use of oxides that have been sprayed on the vessel. Once placed in the reduction chamber, oxygen is reintroduced strategically and creates an unusual oxidized shadow that accentuates the designs.
