Ceramic sculpture derived from the pottery wheel and hand building techniques. First I make the frying pan on the pottery wheel, and get the general shape. Then I hand build whatever types of food I am hungry for in the pan. Each frying pan is all one sculpture, and the food can not be removed. After the piece is sculpted, it is then fired to cone five with an oxidation type of kiln. Glazes and underglaze are applied to add color and uniqueness. All of my artwork is one of a kind, and my frying pans will add joy, awe and humor to any atmosphere. 17"x 9.5" x 3"
